8th September 2015
Eczema is a medical condition that causes a child’s skin to become red, itchy, cracked and dry. It is a long term condition in many people although it can improve over time, especially in children.
There are a number of different types of eczema. The most common form that affects children is called atopic eczema, or atopic dermatitis, and it affects around 1 in 5 children in the UK.
