Are there any changes in my child's growth chart that would cause health professionals concern?

If there are results on your little one’s chart that require a review, your family doctor will then determine if there is an actual medical problem that requires attention or if your child’s development just requires monitoring.
There are a number of causes that might trigger a review of your little one’s chart. These include their height or weight measurements being below the 0.4th percentile, or experiencing a drop in height centile position of more than two spaces. There are lots of different reasons and factors that can affect your child’s growth and development over time. If you have any concerns at all regarding how your little one is growing, share your concerns with your health visitor or family doctor.
