If you’re deaf or hard of hearing, you can use BSL to contact the Helpline. The voice Helpline is currently available 10am–4pm Monday to Friday. You can still email at any time for free.
Calls to the NSPCC Helpline are answered by trained, and experienced child protection specialists who have backgrounds in jobs like teaching, healthcare and social work. They are equipped to provide support and advice on a wide range of issues related to child well-being.
Yes, the helpline is free to call from landlines and mobiles. This means you won’t be charged for your call.

No, the helpline is available to anyone who has concerns about a child’s well-being. This includes parents, carers, teachers, and other adults who are in need of support or reassurance.
The primary focus of the NSPCC Helpline is centred around the well-being of children and keeping children safe. But trained NSPCC Helpline advisors can also provide support and advice to parents and carers who may be struggling to navigate the challenges of parenthood.
